These events are aimed to bring together Amstelveen’s international kids. Interactive storytelling activities and crafting fun time, arranged by our volunteers will boost not only the children’s communication but also will improve motoric skills while working together in a group.

Kids’ Club (08.2021-08.2022; Funded by The European Solidarity Corps)

Due to the continuous lockdown caused by COVID-19, kids had to stay home for months _ away from school, their regular activities and friends. The lack of communication with their peers led many kids to become shy and degrading social skills.
This Volunteering Solidarity Project aims to help children to regain self-confidence, interpersonal communication skills via non-formal learning activities and fun group games.

Computer Classes (08.2021-08.2022; Funded by The European Solidarity Corps)

COVID-19 lockdown proved the role of computer literacy and opportunities offered by the Internet as an indispensable necessity of daily life. However, the lockdown also revealed a vulnerable group of people in our society facing a number of problems due to a lack of computer literacy. This group of people is refugees.
This Volunteering Solidarity Project will help the refugees in our neighborhood with an opportunity to learn basic computer skills and open the door to new learning and work opportunities.
